Great value for the money, the room was cozy and had everything I needed. The location was amazing, with a beautiful view of the loch and the wildlife right outside my window. The staff, Shona and Billy, were incredibly accommodating and made me feel right at home.

Watching a pair of curlews feeding in the field below the house was mind-blowing, and the friendly swallows buzzing around were super cool. The ease of getting around to all the amazing sights of Orkney was a huge plus, as the cottage was on a bus route and near to ferry hopping terminals. The layout of the cottage was excellent, with plenty of utensils and crockery. Free parking, electric kettle, cookware/kitchen utensils, flat-screen TV, cots, no pets allowed. I immediately felt at home and would definitely use this property again.
